Free School Application:1

There are hundreds of colleges and universities in Canada. It is essential to choose the one best suit to you.

1st Step: Appointment of Counselor
CEC will appoint one of our highly experienced counselors to initiate a professional communication with you to represent you going through the whole process of school application. This counselor will become your close friend whenever you need help and the service provider for whatever help you need.   As long as you are in Canada our counselor will contact you from time to time to follow up and provide you assistance when you need. In the case you are abroad, CEC counselor will still serve you through the Internet or QQ/MSN or phone calls

2nd Step: School Decisions
Our counselor will figure out and analyze your interests and needs with you. Based on this information, we will provide you with the most possible school solutions for your specific needs, and we will provide our suggestions to you, such as which school will be the best for you. Therefore, CEC will always provide you with the best option for your school applications.

3rd Step: School Application
Once you decide which school you will apply, CEC will immediately start the application process on your behalf. Our counselor will sit down with you, help you fill out the application form, and verify every detail with you. After completing the application forms, our counselor will inform you and help you to check-list all the required documents to the institution you want to apply to. Besides required documents, you will also need to pay the application fee (ranging from $100 - $150). After collecting all the required documents, our counselor will complete the school registration for you with your application form and fee.

4th Step: School Enrollment and Obtaining a Letter of Acceptance
Usually after two to three weeks you will get a conditional offer from the institution, and this letter means you are qualified to enroll in the institution and take your classes. If you are an international student, you are required to pay a deposit or prepaid tuition to the institution, and after the school receives the payment you will receive an official letter of acceptance (LOA). You use LOA to apply for your study permit.

Document Translation/Notarization Service:
Once you decide to apply to a Canadian academic institution, you will be required to submit all your education transcripts and certificates with your application. While doing this you may want to use the education record obtained from your home country to get the admission. Unfortunately, these education records may not be recognized and accepted by Canadian academic institutions, because they don't understand the language presented in the records or how international credentials compare to Canadian provincial and national systems. CEC has very good business relationships with all the major government authorized translation and notarization organizations. Therefore, if you do not have a translated and notarized document, CEC can provide those services to you for your convenience as long as you submit the original documents to us. You can then use these professionally translated and notified documents to apply to any academic institution in Canada.

Study Plan Preparation:
When you apply to post-secondary institutions in Canada, the schools often require a study plan and/or a self introduction letter from you as the conditions of admission. Some students feel the difficulty and confusion to write the study plan on their own.  As one of our important educational consulting services, CEC experienced counselors will help to analysis the future possibilities for you. Once you have made your vision clear, our counselors will assist you in writing your study plan to meet the standard university entrance requirements.

IELTS/TOEFL/ESL Preparation:
To meet the English requirements of post-secondary institutions in Canada, you usually would need to submit either IELTS score or TOEFL score as the English language ability prove. A few schools might make exemption to this requirement, but would have at least ESL passing score requirement instead.  English language requirements are always big challenges to international students. CEC is specialized in making recommendations to the best English test preparation and training schools including the best IELTS/TOEFL/ESL schools in Vancouver. With CEC’s recommendation and your hard study, within the shortest time you could expect to successfully get the score needed to get into college or university.

University Transfer Assistance:
If you are currently enrolled in college and want to continue your studies in a university, you have the option to transfer your college credits into related university programs. There are two types of university transfer students: Canadian college to Canadian university transfer students and the students who want to transfer the college or university credits from their home countries to a Canadian college or university. For the local college students, CEC counselors will assist them in transferring as many of their credits as possible through the BC transfer system. For the students who want to transfer credit from their home countries, CEC will help them get a credential evaluation (comparing international credentials to Canada’s provincial and national system) from a Canadian authorized organization first, and this evaluation will allow them to transfer the credits from their home countries to their desired post-secondary institute in Canada. CEC will constantly provide practical advices to these students about their college/university credit transferring.
